Independent commercial perspective

See what can change.
Be honest about it.
Commit to improving.

Commercial ambition often arrives before the means to deliver it are fully known.

The question is whether the people, plans and business behind that ambition are ready to deliver what is expected.

Deeper

Important enough
to understand properly.

Tensor Helion is a B2B consultancy focused on helping businesses realise more of what they are capable of.

The focus is the gap between intention and reality. What the business believes should happen, what its people, capability and structures make possible, and what the evidence and outcomes actually show.

Drawing on practical commercial delivery experience, observation, analysis and independent judgement, we test assumptions, surface disconnects and identify where change is both possible and worth pursuing.

The purpose is better information, clearer choices and a sounder basis for action.

Look beyond
the immediate result.

Be clear about the objective.

Before deciding what to do, establish what the business is trying to achieve. More activity is only useful if it serves that objective.

Examine what the business makes possible.

People, structures and incentives shape what actually happens. Do they support the intended result, or pull the business elsewhere?

Question success as carefully as failure.

A good result doesn't prove sound decisions, a poor result doesn't mean bad ones. Understanding ‘why’ matters in every outcome.

A conversation
could be useful.

If there is a decision, direction or part of your business worth examining more closely, there may be value in an independent view. Tensor Helion is here to support the thinking behind what comes next.

Good commercial work should be clear about cost as well as outcome.

Tensor Helion’s day rate is £950.

Where the work is better defined as a project, a fixed fee will normally be agreed in advance. As a guide, many initial assignments sit between £3k and £7k, depending on the scope, complexity and access required.

Travel, accommodation and other agreed expenses are additional where necessary.

The work, expected outcome and fee are agreed before anything chargeable begins.

Channel Re-Architecture: Building for What Comes Next

Millions of pounds were already moving through an established indirect channel. That did not mean the channel was functioning as the business thought.

It had never been properly understood until a new ambition to utilise it for growth prompted closer examination. This exposed a harder picture: revenue often followed existing demand, trust with resellers had weakened, and belief inside the manufacturer was uneven.

This is an anonymised case study on a channel transformation programme led by Tensor Helion's founder in an embedded commercial role.
